A Study on the Effects of Clinical Practice Capacity, Adaptation on Clinical Practice, and Teamwork of Students of Nursing Management Practice on Professional Socialization

Abstract
Unlike other departments, students in the department of nursing science make a quick decision on their career path because they enter school after choosing their career, and the development process of professional socialization takes place before graduation in general because they receive a preparatory education as a nurse from liberal arts and foundation subjects to major theory and clinical training. Specially, clinical practice of nursing management establishes professional socialization that internalizes and develops leadership style of nursing manger, knowledge in role model and nursing through role practice in work, technique, attitude, belief, value, and ethical standards. Therefore, experiencing the process of adapting to the clinical field they are employed in as a member of the organization after graduation is the process of constant learning and development during the nursing curriculum as well as their career as a nurse. Meaning, mutual process in clinical practice is considered as an important factor in the development of professional socialization because it changes by reevaluation of individual role and value and beliefs during the curriculum.
Therefore, this study investigated clinical practice capacity, adaptation on clinical practice, and teamwork of nursing students that make effect on the process of professional socialization as a professional worker and used the findings as a preliminary data to reflect in the curriculum. As a result of progressing research to provide educational strategies and fundamental data of development of nursing professional value of newly graduated nurses, it was identified that clinical practice capacity, adaptation on clinical practice, and teamwork make effects on professional socialization of nursing students.
